ICAN-B provides adults Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for adults in the following settings:
How does ICAN-B help adults?
- Assessment is completed to evaluate the person's overall skill level and needs.
- Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) is designed to treat any challenging behaviors.
- Skill Acquisition programs are introduced to improve the person's deficits.

The more than 30 years of combined experience, has shown us that these are critical areas that must be considered when working with adults:
Health and Routine
When working with adults, ICAN-B takes into consideration other variables that can influence the person's behaviors: (a) medication, (b) sleeping patterns, (c) diet, (d) routine, among other variables.
Collaboration with other Specialists
ICAN-B also places an effort on working closely with other specialists, such as, Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), Speech Pathologist, Neurologist, Physician, Psychologist, Regional Center Care Coordinators, and any other specialist assisting with the person.
Using Technology to Make Timely Decisions
ICAN-B uses devices and applications that allow the Behavior Specialist to make quick decisions to further support each person. This technology also offers caregivers and other decision makers to receive consistent updates.
Staff Training & Certification
ICAN-B ensures that all staff receive the proper training and certification prior to providing services. Some of the certifications that ICAN-B provides for the direct staff: (a) Professional Crisis Management (PCMA), (b) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and internal tier system that promote growth and development for all team members.
At this moment, ICAN-B is contracted to provide 612 (Behavior Analyst) and 615 (Behavior Management Assistant) service codes for members who are part of the North Los Angeles County Regional Center(NLACRC) area.
