The more than 30 years of combined experience, has shown us that these are critical areas that must be considered when working with adults:
When working with adults, ICAN-B takes into consideration other variables that can influence the person’s behaviors: (a) medication, (b) sleeping patterns, (c) diet, (d) routine, among other variables.
ICAN-B also places an effort on working closely with other specialists, such as, Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), Speech Pathologist, Neurologist, Physician, Psychologist, Regional Center Care Coordinators, and any other specialist assisting with the person.
ICAN-B uses devices and applications that allow the Behavior Specialist to make quick decisions to further support each person. This technology also offers caregivers and other decision makers to receive consistent updates.
